This Privacy Policy explains how Unissecure Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use RecallaMemo ("RecallaMemo", the "App", or the "Service").

RecallaMemo is an AI note and voice recording app that helps users capture voice recordings and text notes, transcribe audio, generate summaries, create agent-based drafts, and organize personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process information only as needed to provide the App's features.

1.1 User-Created Content

When you use RecallaMemo, you may create or store:

• Voice recordings
• Text notes
• Transcripts
• AI-generated summaries
• Tags and action items
• Calendar drafts, todo drafts, meeting notes, daily reports, weekly reports, and Sphere Notes
• Related app metadata such as record creation time, duration, source type, and processing status

Most user-created content is stored locally on your device.

1.2 Audio and Microphone Data

If you grant microphone permission, RecallaMemo can record audio from your device microphone. If you use Phone Mic or Sphere Notes features, the App may also receive audio from another RecallaMemo device connected over the local network.

Audio recordings are used to create records, transcripts, summaries, and related AI outputs. RecallaMemo does not use your microphone unless you start a recording or use a feature that clearly requires audio input.

1.3 AI Processing Data

When you use AI features, relevant audio, transcripts, text notes, or selected record content may be sent to configured cloud AI services for transcription, language understanding, summarization, and agent processing.

AI processing may include services such as Azure OpenAI or other configured AI service endpoints. These services process the submitted content only to provide the requested AI feature.

1.4 Subscription and Purchase Status

RecallaMemo offers an auto-renewable subscription called Recalla Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information.

The App may read your subscription status from Apple and may send limited subscription status information to our backend service so that paid AI features can be enabled.

1.5 Device, Network, and Diagnostic Information

To provide app functionality, troubleshooting, and service reliability, the App may process limited technical information, such as:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and build number
• Local network connection status for Phone Mic features
• Error messages and processing status
• Diagnostic information you choose to share with us when requesting support

We do not use this information for advertising tracking.

2. Permissions Used by RecallaMemo

RecallaMemo may request the following permissions depending on the features you use:

• Microphone: to record audio.
• Local Network: to discover and connect to nearby RecallaMemo Phone Mic devices.
• Bluetooth: reserved for future external microphone support where applicable.
• Calendar: only if you choose to save calendar drafts to the iOS Calendar.
• Files or local storage: to save local records, exports, audio files, and app configuration.

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Save voice and text records
• Play back recordings
• Transcribe audio
• Generate summaries, tags, action items, and agent drafts
• Create meeting notes, daily reports, weekly reports, todos, calendar drafts, and Sphere Notes
• Enable Recalla Pro subscription features
• Provide local export features
• Improve reliability, security, and user support

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Local Storage and Cloud Processing

RecallaMemo is designed with a local-first approach. Your records are primarily stored on your device.

Some features require cloud processing. For example, transcription and AI summarization may send selected audio or text content to cloud AI services. If a backend service is used to provide AI access credentials or subscription verification, only the minimum information needed for that purpose is sent.

Future versions may add optional iCloud sync or additional cloud features. If such features are introduced, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:

• With your consent
• With service providers needed to operate App features, such as AI processing or subscription verification
• With Apple for App Store purchase and subscription processing
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Records stored locally remain on your device unless you delete them or uninstall the App.

AI service providers may retain submitted data according to their own service terms and data processing policies. We recommend that users avoid submitting content they do not want processed by cloud AI services.

You may delete records in the App. You may also export your records for your own backup or migration.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Apple ID.

8. Children's Privacy

RecallaMemo is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. International Processing

Depending on the AI service configuration and your location, information may be processed in countries or regions outside your place of residence, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to use service providers that support appropriate security and privacy protections.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the App or on our website.
